This driver is designed to communicate to the Opto Mystic and M4RTU controllers through Ethernet, Arcnet, and Serial interfaces.
Intellution tested this driver with the Mistic 200, M4RTU, M4SENET, and M4SARC hardware.
This driver requires the OptoControl API v3.0 or greater, which is available from Opto. |
History
| Revision History |
Reason for 6.00e Release on 1/20/98:
* New driver - designed to talk to Opto Mistic and M4RTU controllers via Ethernet, Arcnet, and serial interfaces.
Reason for 6.00f Release on 6/4/98:
* Corrected problem with variables not updating.
Reason for 6.00g Release on 5/7/99:
* Corrected problem of not being able to edit or display more than 300 poll records in the configurator.
Reason for 6.00h Release on 10/22/00:
* Corrected problem of driver using up all 32 available sessions when a device fails and a reconnect is attempted.
Reason for 6.00i Release on 01/11/00:
* Corrected problem of the driver stopping when a new configuration is loaded.
Additionally, the driver now waits for the delay time to expire before attempting to reconnect to the network.
Reason for 6.00j Release on 4/28/00:
* Implemented signal conditioning for signed Integer and Long data types.
Reason for 6.10 Release on 5/11/01:
* Added support for Optocontrol software v3.1.
Reason for 6.10a Release on 9/17/01:
* The driver was unable to re-establish communication if the connection to both the primary and backup controllers was lost and then regained. Changed the driver so that once either controller resumes normal operation, communication with that controller is re-established.
Reason for 6.11 Release on 7/01/04:
* Added support for OPTO Control Factory Floor Software v4.0.
* Added support Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems. |
