Proficy Driver Server - GES2 SRTP Driver - SIM 1 (2.0.1.1409)

Binaries Changed

GES2Protocol.dll

Bugs Fixed:

Bug #50067 Published variables with Reference Addresses not able to be addressed by name

This fix allows users to address any externally published variables by name (as a symbolic) whether or not there is a reference address for that variable.

Bug #50057 Unable read/write to published locally scoped variables and custom structure members

This fix allows addressing symbolic variables with "dots" in the name. This includes structured variables and block scoped variables. Users must properly scope local variables in order to see them work. A locally scope published variable gets published with the name of LDPROG1.<scope name>.<variable name>(e.g. LDPROG1.LDBK.INT2).

Bug #50071 GE SRTP Symbolic BOOL values not always reflecting correct PLC Value

This fix remedies a problem with Boolean symbolic variables in certain configurations not properly displaying the correct value from the PLC.

Note: This SIM 1 is uninstallable in the Add/Remove Programs when you check the "Show Updates" option

Note:  If your firewall blocks ZIPS and EXEs, simply right-click and select SAVE TARGET AS and change the extension to something like "XIP".  Once downloaded change the extension back to its original one.

All drivers produced by vendors other than GE ("3rd Party Drivers") are provided by GE "as is" and without warranty of any kind unless the vendor extends a pass-through warranty to the end user.  Support for 3rd Party Drivers is provided by the driver's vendor.
