Description
When attempting to generate a keycode for product registration, no keycode is generated (i.e. the keycode field comes up blank).
Resolution
Reinstalling the Crypkey licensing component of Cimplicity Plant Edition can solve many license-related problems, including:
  • Failure to generate a keycode after entering a base serial number
  • “Accept Connections” checkbox is greyed-out in Cimplicity Options
  • Error message during installation: “Setup has detected an incorrect Cimplicity Site Key on your computer. You must install the new Cimplicity Site Key before this installation. Failure to do so will leave your system UNLICENSED and INOPERATIVE.”
